Getting Started

Making a floppy disk

The server setup support software “Server Setup TooL” has the

function to make floppy disks of data on the driver, utilities and so

on used in this system. Make floppy disks depending on the

situation, and keep them for future use.

How to make a floppy disk

For making a floppy disk with the “Server Setup TooL,” follow the

procedure mentioned below, referring to the instructions appearing

on the display for details:

1 Following the steps in “Starting up by the CD-ROM” on page

43, set both the “Server Setup TooL CD-ROM” in the respec-

tive drives, and start the “Server Setup TooL.”

2 Select "Utilities" from the main menu of "Server Setup TooL".

3 Select “Create Floppy Disks.”

4 Select the name of the floppy disk to make.

5 Set a 1.44MB formatted floppy disk in the disk drive and then

select “Create.”

If another floppy disk is set in the drive, remove it before mak-

ing the floppy disk.
