CONTROLS AND FEATURES
The TV's Intel
®
WiDi device name can be changed.
a In the Network menu, press B / b to select
Network Device Setup and press OK.
b Press B / b to select Intel
®
WiDi Setup and press
OK.
c Press B / b to select Intel
®
WiDi Device Name
and press OK.
d Select Intel
®
WiDi Device Name and press OK.
The Software Keyboard window will appear.
e Input the Intel
®
WiDi device name by using the
software keyboard (see page 52). Press the
GREEN button.
f Highlight Done and press OK to save your setting.
Device List displays a list of MAC addresses for previously
connected device that have been connected before. The
maximum number that can be stored is 20.
If the list run out of space, the least-recently-used MAC
address will be deleted and the new MAC address added
automatically.
a In the Intel
®
WiDi Setup screen, highlight the
Device List and press OK.
Device List will appear.
The registered MAC Address can be deleted one by one
by pressing RED key in the List.
When doing so the following text can be seen “Do you
want to unregister this device? Yes/No” (default cursor is
“No”).
Using the Media Player
This TV allows you to enjoy movie, music and
photo files stored on a USB device connected to
the USB port, or an SD card inserted in the SD
card slot.
Moreover, you can also play photos, movies or
music files from your PC by connecting the TV
to your home network.
Terminology:
MP: Media Player
MS: Media Server
MR: Media Renderer
MC: Media Controller
MP: The TV can control and play content from a MS.
- A MS is a device that can function as a server for MP
or MR.
MR: The TV can play content from a MS. Playback is
controlled by a MC.
- A MC is a device that can instruct the TV to play
content.
NOTE:
Do not insert/remove USB device or SD card while in
use.
MENU is not available during playback.
When you want to use your TV as a media renderer, set
Media Renderer to On (see “Media Renderer Setup” on
page 53).
