To send a job from the command-line, you can type the following on the command

line:

lp –d <print_queue> -o option1 –o option2 … -o optionn <file_to_print>

lp –d <print_queue> -o “option1 option2 … optionn” <file_to_print>

Note: The second form of the command may not work on some systems. If this

happens, use the first form.
